Vintage Vehicle Weekend 12th – 13th July
Over the weekend a number of vintage vehicles, primarily cars, will be displayed at each of the NYMR stations. Live music and beer tent at Levisham Station. There will be the usual train service between Pickering and Grosmont on the NYMR, and Whitby on Saturday only.
Invitations to attend have been extended to a number of car Owners Clubs. Applications to attend have now been closed, sorry if we couldn’t fit you in this year.
Please note – car parking at the NYMR Stations will, at best, be limited, if not non existent, during this weekend. You are advised to use public car parks in Whitby or Pickering, and to check back on this website regarding park and ride arrangements that will be in place for this weekend only.

Free heritage bus trips, taking about 10 minutes, will operate around Pickering using the following vehicles (subject to availability):–
1938 Bristol K5 double decker
1952 Leyland Tiger single decker
1969 Bristol LHS6L single decker
Departing from outside the Station Hotel, which is opposite the entrance to Pickering Station, at the following times on both Saturday and Sunday:-
11:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00.
Malton Shuttles
Pickering departures will leave from outside the Station Hotel which is opposite the entrance to Pickering Railway Station.
Saturday July 12th 2008
Depart Malton Railway Station at 10:15 (trains ex York arrive at 09:02 & 10:02, and ex Scarborough arrive at 09:10 & 10:10)
Depart Pickering 16:15
For NYMR Pickering arrivals at 16:40, 17:40 & 19:40, use East Yorkshire 17:40, 18:40 & 20:20 services to Scarborough, and Coastliner 17:57, 18:13 and 19:57 to Malton.
Sunday July 13th 2008
Depart Malton Railway Station 10:15 (trains ex Scarborough arrive at 09:43 and ex York arrive at 10:02)
Depart Pickering 16:15
For NYMR Pickering arrivals at 16;40 & 17:40, use East Yorkshire 17:40 & 18:40 to Scarborough, and Coastliner 16:47 & 18:47 to Malton.
