NYMR has parking available at all stations along the railway, although parking at Levisham is limited and our main car park at Pickering can become full by mid-morning, especially on the ‘Peak’ summer days.
Alternative parking is available in Pickering on the right-hand side in Vivas Lane behind the Antique Centre or further down the road, where there is a council operated car park. NYMR has a parking agreement with the Pickering Antique Centre. If parking there, customers are asked to visit the shop to purchase their parking tickets (priced at £1.50 per half day, or £3 per day). If the shop is closed on arrival, customers are asked to place the money for their parking in an envelope, clearly marked with the vehicle registration and post through the letter box.
The Pickering Antique Centre is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm (opens 11am on Sundays). From the railway station, the Antique Centre car park can be found by returning down The Ropery and proceeding straight on at the offset traffic lights with the A170. See map below:
